Who we are
Ajax Food Network provide FREE food for Town of Ajax Residents & Friends. We received various donations to help bridge the gaps of food insecurity. Through the hard work and dedication of our community volunteers, they structure, and plan the pick up and distribution of food items; who pick up the items in Town of Ajax. Sponsored by Alex Monaghan Mental Health Programs.
Our Donors
We received food donations from organizations such as Bimbo Canada, Freedom City Ministry, Nofrils, Shoppers Drug Mart, Freshco and other companies.
When to pick up!
The food are available when announced on Facebook page or groups on a bi-weekly basis, Sunday 4pm - 6pm or until it's all gone. Members of the public can follow us on Facebook "Town of Ajax Neighbours by Carion Fenn", Profile Page "Carion Fenn", Groups: "Carion Fenn Foundation", or TikTok "Carion Fenn" to get notified when we announce the next date and time.
What we give!
We rescued over 11,473 Meals, and interacted with over 15 businesses. When announced on Facebook, we provide Bread, Bagel, Hot Dog Bun, Hamburger Bun, Wraps, General Groceries, etc donated to us from various grocery stores and organizations free of charge and available to ALL Town of Ajax community members & Friends.
How to help!
We need you and can't do this without your help. You can make a donation or volunteer your time. It is greatly appreciated as this will help us to be able to do more to help our community together so that community members can access much needed food for their families while feeling valued in accessing food needed. On April 10, 2024 - gone in 15 Minutes!
On April 10, 2024, we were able to have community members access all of our food supplies in 15 Minutes. A record as we normally have our products gone in 1 to 1.5 hours. Thank you to every one who participated. We know that this program works. Please make a donation to make this project even more successful as we know that this works, and we need to make additional arrangements to support the demands.
