Mental Health Support
The Alex Monaghan Mental Health Programs educate, support and provide resources to the pubic. We work together with businesses, community members & stakeholders advocating for best Mental Health to help remove the stigma in accessing Mental Health Services while empowering and facilitating Youths getting their volunteer hours, being mentored, and supported through giving back to the community.
Mental Health Programs
Alex Monaghan Mental Health Programs include our Mental Health Chat, Forum, Symposium, Flag Raising & Queens Park Mental Health Chat through advocacy, support programs working with Mental Health Experts and agencies such as Ontario Shores, Lakeridge Health & others.
It's ok to not feel ok & It's ok so seek support
Through our advocacy, having a seat at the table, and our community service work, our goal is to increase awareness, have conversations, and make it be known that it is ok to not feel ok and it is ok to seek support accessing services supporting Best Mental Health.
Mental Health Forum: January 23, 2025 6pm - 8pm
Alex Monaghan Mental Health Forum discusses important topics related to mental health. The forum will take place at the Pickering Public Library, 1 The Esplanade Pickering, Ontario L1V 6K7 Canada.

Join us for a conversation of encounters with Anti-Black Racism through Poetry, Music, Personal Storytelling, reflecting on inspirational quotes from Black leaders and a Healing Activity led by culturally responsive Psychotherapist/ Social Worker who share healing strategies, techniques or processes that help participants decompress what they’ve learned and talked about in recognition of Black Health Week.

Youth Mental Health Chat November 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2025 6pm - 8pm
Alex Monaghan Youth Mental Health Chat, teaches effective techniques to have Best Mental Health focusing on tools to effectively support youths, ages 11 to 30 years old, available to youths, those supporting youths, and members of the public who wish to learn more about how to support youths with Expert Speakers, Stories, Break-out Session, Prizes, and the $500 Alex Monaghan Award.

Let's raise awareness and show support for mental health initiatives in our community. Together, we can break the stigma and promote mental well-being.
