Terri 'Sparky' Johnson

Sparky was a friend, daughter, sister in advocacy, board member of the Carion Fenn Foundation and a fierce advocate for Seniors & Long Term Care. She was the spark in our lives. We are sadden and heart broken by her loss in such a tragic way. Sparky was our Seniors Director and one of the leaders for our Covid-19 Seniors Program funded by the Government of Canada.

SENIORS & LONG TERM CARE ADVOCACY

Sparky lead a weekly seniors program for 3 months, with her fellow board members. Helping our seniors to stay out of Isolation during Covid-19. She would host, engage and took part in our social clubs, and provided programs such as Yoga, Technology, Fire Safety with the Ajax Fire Department, Fraud Prevention with Durham Region Police Services, POA & Wills with Andrew Felker, Mental Health and more. We are scheduling our next Seniors Program coming soon. In honour of Sparky's memory and the work she has done, her name will be included in our seniors programs to continue her work and her legacy.     For those who want to leave a message for Sparky and her family, please submit through our website and we will ensure that the family sees it and create a gallery with all of your messages on this page.
