Carion Fenn Foundation presents our 1st Resilience Workshop focusing on Building Ones Resilience, Wednesday May 5, 2021 6:30pm - 9pm Eastern in partnership with Clarington Public Library, Lakeridge Health and Ajax Legion, and sponsored by the Township of Clarington and the Islamic Society of Ajax.
Our Workshop is FREE to the public and features speakers such as Lakeridge Health, Dr. Floyd Spence, Canadian Mental Health Association Durham with a Breakout Session by Change Management Cordelia Clarke Julien to help you unpack what you've learned and focus on Building your Resilience, the capacity to recovery from difficult times. Covid-19 has impacted us all, this workshop will focus on giving you tools to help you deal with your day to day lives. Learn how to recognize, build, or continue to build your resilience to be the best you.

David Clarke is Organization Development Trainer at Lakeridge Health. Formerly a long-time training coordinator with Durham Mental Health Services, he has worked locally in community mental health for over 25 years. David has provided education to organizations including Ontario Shores for Mental Health Sciences, the Ontario Ministry of Revenue, the Region of Durham, and the Whitby Chamber of Commerce.
Marie has been working in Adult Education for 15 years. Her focus has been in non-profit, employment, corporate training and recently moved to mental health education. She holds a Bachelor of Art’s Degree and a post-grad certification in Teaching and Training Adults along with other designations, including Personality Dimensions (Level II) and Soft Skills Solutions. She has extensive experience training diverse groups of people and continues to seek out exciting opportunities, with her most recent adventure managing the Recovery College Wellness Centre at CMHA Durham. With a flair for the dramatic and a love of all things that sparkle, Marie is grateful for the opportunity to participate in the learning journeys of her students and colleagues.
